Costa Rica enjoys a subequatorial climate, with rainfall year-round along the Caribbean coast, while the Pacific coast experiences its wet season from May to December. Average temperatures reach 26 °C along the coast and range from 18 to 20 °C inland. The best time to visit Costa Rica is during the dry season.
